I'm a Washington, D.C. native and a UC Berkeley graduate (BA history) currently studying digital media journalism at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in New York, NY. At Cal I worked at the student paper The Daily Californian as a staff photographer, one-year photo editor and occasional news and sports writer.
I photographed rugby and refugee camps for the biggest English language newspaper in Cape Town, South Africa: The Cape Times and The Cape Argus. I've reviewed "House" and "Big Brother" for CBS Interactive's TV news and review site TV.com and photographed the "manliest" new trends in San Francisco for Thrillist.com. I've consumed Costco-sized bottles of ear plugs for the concert news site SoundSpike and uncovered unincorporated San Lorenzo for Patch.com. I contribute to TheBrooklynInk.com, a site run out of Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism. |
