A Lazy Day in the U.S. of A.
I took the train home from New York City last night. I woke up late today when a thunderstorm broke in the area around my house. Five hours later, the clouds have broken, the sky is blue and birds are singing. For the most part, I have sat around and read the news or generally lazed around.
Today, Lisa, whom at I met at the editors’ workshop, and I started a blog called The Five Wire. There are five contributing members, and we talk about the media. Five because there are five of us and “wire” because of our youthful exuberance (i.e. “live wire”) and a reference to newswire services. It’s worth a quick read.
I will be preparing to go to South Africa this week, but for today, I just want to sit and enjoy the rest.
I was just thinking… I wonder how Anna’s newspaper conference is going? And I remembered to check your blog! I like that you can include photos in your posts. Also I enjoyed reading your “The Five Wire” Blog! Great idea. I will remember to check back to read more updates about South Africa. HAVE FUN!!!!!
