I photographed the Detroit Tigers versus Oakland Athletics game yesterday at the Coliseum. After shooting with my telephoto I decided to take a step back and force myself to use a wide lens. Not an easy task when you’re behind netting. My images are slowly evolving into a whole portrait of game day, from the crowds to the players, from the hot dogs to the game action.

The Oakland Athletics played the Detroit Tigers at the Oakland Coliseum. The Bat Boy for the Tigers stood behind home plate holding Ramón Santiago’s extra bat.

I was hanging out behind home plate to photograph the batters and pitchers. It was the last day of the A’s-Yankees series in Oakland. The A’s won today 4-2.

An afternoon at the Ferry Plaza farmers’ market in San Francisco. After a morning of light showers and sprinkling rain, the sun popped out through the clouds. Ah!

The Oakland Athletics just began their home series against the Baltimore Orioles at the Coliseum this evening.

MGMT played at The Fillmore in San Francisco. I’ve just been jamming in as many concerts as possible. Ah … to photograph musicians.

At the Oakland A’s stadium for a day baseball game. Sunny and warm with a great crowd. Ah … spring. I’ll start posting game shots soon; the detail shots are just so tempting.
